My New Life in Middle School

Hello everyone! My name is Li Hua, and I am a new student at No. 1 Middle School. It has been three months since I started my life as a middle school student, and it feels like a whole new world has opened up for me.

When I first entered the school gate, everything seemed so big and exciting. The campus was larger than my elementary school, and there were many more students walking around. At first, I felt a little nervous because everything was unfamiliar. But soon, I made friends with some classmates who shared the same interests as me. We talk about our favorite books, sports, and hobbies during breaks, which makes school much more enjoyable.

One of the biggest changes is the workload. In middle school, we have more subjects to study, such as math, English, Chinese, history, geography, and science. Each subject has its own challenges, but I find them interesting too. For example, learning English is challenging yet fun. I practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing every day. I also joined an after-school club where we practice conversations in English. This helps me improve quickly and gives me confidence when talking to others.

Another difference is that middle school teachers expect us to be more responsible. They encourage us to think independently and solve problems on our own. At first, this was hard for me, but now I understand that these skills will help me grow into a better person.

Despite the challenges, I love being in middle school. The friendships, the knowledge, and the opportunities make every day special. I hope to continue working hard and achieve great things in the future. After all, middle school is just the beginning of an amazing journey!
